ALOHA and welcome to Honu House of Aloha.  We, the owners, are from Hawaii and it is common to use the term Aloha to mean hello or goodbye.  But the word means even more … it is a way of life or an attitude sometimes called “The Aloha Spirit” or “The Way of Aloha”.

The Hawaiian word Honu refers to the green sea turtles native to the Hawaiian islands.  The honu is considered an aumakua, or guardian spirit, and also a sign of good luck.  The honu is the last remaining reptile indigenous to the Hawaiian islands, and it is viewed as a symbol of endurance and longevity.

We hope that our home is a reflection of this Aloha Spirit in the decorations, Hawaiian items such as Kona coffee and teas, and of course, macadamia nuts.  Please enjoy our Hawaiian hospitality and become one of our Ohana (family).  Mahalo!!
